DYFRIG DALZIEL SPONSORS REDS ACADEMY |

Successful local building company DYFRIG DALZIEL LIMITED have sponsored Llanelli AFC’s Academy for this season.
Managing Director, Director, Dyfrig Dalziel, is pictured presenting Reds Academy Director; Bob Jeffrey with a new kit for the Reds under 19’s to wear this season.
Mr Dalziel stated that “he was delighted to be able to sponsor the Academy and hopes that all the teams have a successful season.”
The Under 19s begin their league season next Monday against Bryntirion Athletic at Stebo whilst the Under 18s have won both their two opening league games.
The Under 12. 14 and 16 sides begin their seasons this Sunday when they travel to Port Talbot Town Academy for a league game. |

Both the Reds Youth Teams won their games by 5 goals to 1 on Sunday.
The Under 19s won their friendly at Newport YMCA with goals from Adam Orme (3) Joe Clarke and Dan Smale.
The Under 18s won their second South Wales FA Youth League game of the season against Maesteg Park at Stebo with goals from Nathan Jones (2),Jordan Tucker,Henry Hughes and Ben Williams. |

ACADEMY BIKE RIDE AND FUN DAY ON BANK HOLIDAY MONDAY |

The Reds Academy will be holding a Sponsored Bike Ride and Academy Fun Day at Stebonheath Park on Bank Holiday Monday, 30th August. The Bike Ride will help subsidise all Academy Subscriptions for the season whilst the Fun Day Events of a Darts and Pool Competiton plus A Penalty Shoot Out Competition will go towards Academy Running Expenses. The Bike Ride starts at 10am and the route will cover Llanelli to Burry Port and back whilst the Fun Day and Bar B Q will commence at 12 noon. |

REDS ACADEMY LOOKING FOR PLAYERS |

Llanelli AFC Academy are looking for extra players for both their Under 12 and Under 14 teams.
In particular, they are on the lookout for an under 12 goal keeper after last season’s under 11 keeper; Iwan Roberts has joined Swansea City.
Training is currently at Bryngwyn School on Tuesday and Thursday evenings starting at 6pm.
The Reds Academy sides play their league and cup games on a Sunday throughout the season and play against other Welsh Premier League Academy sides such as Aberystwyth Town, Port Talbot, Carmarthen Town, Neath, Haverfordwest etc.
