MID WEEK GAMES CALLED OFF PDF Print E-mail
Llanelli AFC have had to call off both the pre season mid week fixtures scheduled for this week. Tomorrow night's games at GOYTRE and AMMANFORD TOWN have both been cancelled due to the injury situation at the club. The first team squad have TEN players out injured whilst four Under 19 players picked up knocks on Saturday in the game with Bristol Rovers.
 
UNDER 19s SUFFER HEAVY DEFEAT BY BRISTOL ROVERS PDF Print E-mail
The Reds Under 19s entertained BRISTOL ROVERS at Stebonheath on Saturday and went down to a disappointing 6 2 defeat. The Reds goal scorers were Aaron Houlihan and Adam Orme.
 
DEPLETED REDS GO DOWN AT TAMWORTH PDF Print E-mail
A depleted Reds team with seven regular first team players missing, went down to a 5 0 defeat at Blue Square Premier side TAMWORTH on Saturday. Ashley Morris, Stuart Jones, Chris Holloway,Chris Venables,Jason Bowen, Craig Moses and Rhys Griffiths were all missing for various reasons, mainly through injury apart from Stuart Jones whose pregnant wife was admitted into hospital on Friday night. The Reds were up against it the moment that Ross Jones conceded a penalty mid way in the first half and from then on only some fine saves by keeper Craig Richards kept the scoreline down.
